Frank And Potato Bake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and sliced
  • 4 -5 frankfurters, sliced
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 2 teaspoons prepared mustard

Recipe

  • 1 in saucepan cook onion in butter till tender but not brown.
  • 2 blend in flour and salt. add milk all at once; cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly.
  • 3 add cheese, stirring to melt.
  • 4 stir in parsley and mustard.
  • 5 fold in potatoes and frankfurters.
  • 6 place in a 1 quart casserole.
  • 7 cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or till heated through.
  • 8 prep time does not include cooking and cooling of the potatoes.
