Lower Fat Cheese Fries

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 cups potatoes, cut for french fries
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Recipe
- 1 grease 9x13 pan.
- 2 rinse potatoes in collander under running water and pat dry.
- 3 arrange potatoes in pan so they don't touch each other.
- 4 pour milk over potatoes.
- 5 divide butter into several small pieces and dot evenly over potatoes.
- 6 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 7 cover with foil and bake at 425f for 25 minutes.
- 8 remove and add cheese evenly.
- 9 cover and return to oven for 5 more minutes.
- 10 garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
