Lentil Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 5 potatoes
- 3 tablespoons reduced fat margarine
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 (19 ounce) cans lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
Recipe
- 1 boil potatoes for mashed potatoes.
- 2 mash potatoes with water+margarine.
- 3 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 4 spray pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- 5 saute onion and garlic.
- 6 add lentils, tomato sauce and herbs and cook 15 minutes.
- 7 pour lentils into a baking pan and cover with mashed potatoes.
- 8 bake in oven for 20min.
