Smoked Cheddar Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

- 3 large potatoes, medium-thin sliced
- 1/2 cup smoked cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons onions, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350.
- 2 blanch potato slices in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- 3 drain and rinse with cold water.
- 4 spray a two-quart casserole with oil.
- 5 make a layer of 1/2 of the potatoes.
- 6 top with the cheese, onion, and flour.
- 7 top with the rest of the potatoes.
- 8 season.
- 9 slightly heat the milk and pour over the casserole.
- 10 cover and bake for 50 minutes.
- 11 uncover and bake for 20 minutes longer (or until lightly brown).
- 12 serve warm.
