Mark's Clam Chowder

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 2 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams
- 2 cups potatoes, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 quart half-and-half
Recipe
- 1 put veggies in pot.
- 2 drain clam juice into veggie pot.
- 3 add water to cover.
- 4 boil until tender.
- 5 make sauce with remaining ingredients.
- 6 melt butter.
- 7 stir in flour, salt, and pepper.
- 8 cook for 3 or 4 minutes.
- 9 add half and half, stirring continuously until thick.
- 10 add clams and veggies to sauce.
- 11 heat through.
