Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup warm soymilk (maybe more)
  • 1/4 cup vegan margarine (maybe more)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water.
  • 2 cover and bring to a boil; cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender.
  • 3 drain well.
  • 4 add soymilk, vegan margarine, salt and pepper; mash until light and fluffy.
  • 5 add more soymilk and vegan margarine, if needed, to get a creamier texture.
