Ingredients

- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 quart sauerkraut
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 1 potato, grated
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 saute onion in oil or bacon grease.
- 2 add flour.
- 3 add sauerkraut, sugar, caraway seeds, grated potato, and water.
- 4 cook for 30 minutes on low. watch carefully to prevent burning.
