Sauerkraut

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 quart sauerkraut
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1 potato, grated
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 saute onion in oil or bacon grease.
  • 2 add flour.
  • 3 add sauerkraut, sugar, caraway seeds, grated potato, and water.
  • 4 cook for 30 minutes on low. watch carefully to prevent burning.
