Potato Slices With Cheese

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 2 cups cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup stock

Recipe

  • 1 peel and thinly slice potatoes.
  • 2 in buttered crockpot, alternate layers of potatoes with cheese, lightly seasoning potatoes with salt, pepper and nutmeg as you go.
  • 3 finish with cheese, dot with butter, and gently pour stock over all.
  • 4 cover and bake 3 hours on high; remove cover and bake 15 minutes more.
  • 5 serve from crockpot.
