Hogshash/ Dutch Goose/ Pig Stomach

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 pig, stomachs
  • 3 lbs potatoes
  • 3 lbs smoked sausage
  • 1 medium size onion

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 peel and dice potatoes and onion. slice sausage. mix together in a large bowl.
  • 3 rinse the pig stomachs and stuff with mixture.
  • 4 once the stomach is stuffed sew up every opening securely.
  • 5 place in roasting pan and cover with water. cover roasting pan and bake in oven for 2 hours.
  • 6 remove from roasting pan, cut open and serve.
