Eleanor's Garlic Cream Potatoes

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 lbs baking potatoes, peeled
- 1 1/2 cups light cream
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Recipe
- 1 slice potatoes 1/8" thick.
- 2 layer in 1 1/2 quart baking dish, 2" deep.
- 3 heat cream with garlic, salt and pepper.
- 4 pour hot cream over potatoes.
- 5 cream should come to the top layer but not cover it.
- 6 dot with butter.
- 7 bake at 300°, until potatoes are tender and cream absorbed,.
- 8 at least one hour.
- 9 serves 6.
