Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 kg potato
- 600 ml thickened cream
- 250 g bacon, diced
- 200 g mushrooms, sliced
- 500 g tasty cheese, shredded
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180deg celcuis and grease a large metal baking dish.
- 2 slice potatoes into thin slices, arrange some on the bottom of a large baking dish.
- 3 add some diced bacon and mushrooms along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and repeat till dish is full with a potato layer on top.
- 4 pour cream over top of potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
- 5 bake for 45min to 1 hour, test with a fork to make sure potatoes are cooked. if top becomes too brown whilst cooking cover with foil.
