Potato Bake

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 kg potato
  • 600 ml thickened cream
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 500 g tasty cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 180deg celcuis and grease a large metal baking dish.
  • 2 slice potatoes into thin slices, arrange some on the bottom of a large baking dish.
  • 3 add some diced bacon and mushrooms along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and repeat till dish is full with a potato layer on top.
  • 4 pour cream over top of potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
  • 5 bake for 45min to 1 hour, test with a fork to make sure potatoes are cooked. if top becomes too brown whilst cooking cover with foil.
