Pizza Lovers Potatoes

Ingredients

• 4 large baking potatoes
• 2 cups monterey jack cheese (about 8 ounces)
• 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
• 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crumbled
• 1/4 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled
• 2 tomatoes, sliced
• 8 ounces italian sausages, cooked and sliced
• parmesan cheese

Recipe

• 1 bake potatoes in a 450 degree oven until tender, about 50 minutes.
• 2 in a small bowl, combine shredded cheese with green onion, oregano, and basil.
• 3 slice potatoes in half lengthwise and place in a baking dish, cut-side up.
• 4 sprinkle potatoes with half of the cheese mixture.
• 5 top with tomato slices and sausage; sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture.
• 6 bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, or until topping is nicely browned.
• 7 sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving, or pass parmesan cheese with potatoes.
