Tandoori Aloo

Total Time: 14 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 9 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup baby potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt
  • 4 kashmiri chilies
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 2 teaspoons coriander-cumin powder (dhania-jeera)

Recipe

  • 1 wash the potatoes thoroughly,pierce them with a fork and place them all around the microwave turntable.
  • 2 place a glass of water in the centre to prevent the potatoes from getting wrinkled.
  • 3 microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes until potatoes are soft.
  • 4 heat oil in a glass bowl for about 1 minute,add the prepared paste and salt and mix well.
  • 5 microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • 6 add the potatoes, cream, kasuri methi and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • 7 serve hot.
