St. Vincent Sweet Potato Chips

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb sweet potato
  • vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 wash and peel potatoes.
  • 2 slice thinly.
  • 3 soak in cold salted water for 1 hour.
  • 4 drain and dry on paper towels.
  • 5 fry until browned in deep oil @370 degrees.
  • 6 drain on paper towels.
  • 7 salt and keep warm, till ready to serve.
