- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into large pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon chives, freshly snipped
Recipe
- 1 place the potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water.
- 2 cook until soft.
- 3 drain and place potatoes in a mixer bowl.
- 4 add the butter and sour cream.
- 5 whip on low.
- 6 gradually add the milk and increase the mixer's speed, whipping until the potatoes are smooth.
- 7 add the chives and check the seasonings, adding more salt and pepper as needed.
- 8 serve warm.
