Sour Cream And Chives Whipped Potatoes

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into large pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chives, freshly snipped

Recipe

  • 1 place the potatoes in a large saucepan and cover with water.
  • 2 cook until soft.
  • 3 drain and place potatoes in a mixer bowl.
  • 4 add the butter and sour cream.
  • 5 whip on low.
  • 6 gradually add the milk and increase the mixer's speed, whipping until the potatoes are smooth.
  • 7 add the chives and check the seasonings, adding more salt and pepper as needed.
  • 8 serve warm.
