Slim And Trim Scalloped Potatoes

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 3/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon wine worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded low-fat swiss cheese
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced

Recipe

  • 1 spray a medium saucepan with non-stick spray.
  • 2 add onions and mushrooms.
  • 3 cook until vegetables are tender.
  • 4 sprinkle in the flour and stir until vegetables are coated with flour.
  • 5 gradually add the milk and cook until mixture is thick and bubbly, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  • 6 add cheese, dill, salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce.
  • 7 cook until cheese is melted.
  • 8 remove from heat.
  • 9 spray a medium casserole with non-stick spray.
