Potato And Corn Chowder

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 4 slices bacon, diced and fried
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups cream-style corn
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 add onion to bacon drippings after bacon has been removed.
  • 2 cook until lightly browned.
  • 3 add water, diced potatoes, salt and pepper.
  • 4 cook until potatoes are tender.
  • 5 add corn, milk, and butter.
  • 6 simmer until heated through or until ready to serve.
  • 7 add cooked bacon when ready to serve.
