Potato And Corn Chowder

Ingredients
- 2 cups potatoes, diced
- 4 slices bacon, diced and fried
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups cream-style corn
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 add onion to bacon drippings after bacon has been removed.
- 2 cook until lightly browned.
- 3 add water, diced potatoes, salt and pepper.
- 4 cook until potatoes are tender.
- 5 add corn, milk, and butter.
- 6 simmer until heated through or until ready to serve.
- 7 add cooked bacon when ready to serve.
