Ingredients

- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 1 (32 ounce) package frozen southern style hash browns, thawed
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- minced fresh parsley
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan, combine half and half, butter and salt and pepper.
- 2 cook and stir over medium heat until butter is melted.
- 3 place potatoes in a greased 13x9x2 baking dish and pour cream mixture over potatoes.
- 4 sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 5 bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown.
- 6 sprinkle with parsley and serve.
