Rodeo Fries

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 6 potatoes (sliced, i like to use russet potatoes and leave the skins on)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey garlic barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon liquid honey

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 wash and slice your potatoes.
  • 3 in a saucepan, melt your butter and add in remaining ingredients. stirring constantly.
  • 4 once sauce has warmed up, pour over sliced potatoes and place on a parchment lined or well greased baking sheet . (they will make a mess and stick to the sheet!)
  • 5 bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • 6 note: i've also wrapped the potatoes up in aluminum foil and cooked them on the bbq. you just need to keep checking for doneness.
