Ham Pot-pie

Total Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 5 lbs ham (with bone in)
  • water
  • 3 medium potatoes (cubed)
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped parsley

Recipe

  • 1 place ham in large pot and cover with water.
  • 2 boil to make ham broth.
  • 3 cut ham into cubes and set aside.
  • 4 place potatoes in broth to cook while you are mixing dough.
  • 5 in large mixing bowl, mix flour, eggs, and milk to form soft dough.
  • 6 you may need to add a little more milk.
  • 7 roll dough to 1/8" to 1/4" thickness (depending on preference).
  • 8 cut dough into 1" by 3" rectangles.
  • 9 drop dough into broth one piece at a time.
  • 10 cook until dough is done.
  • 11 add ham.
  • 12 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 13 add parsley for color.
