Perfect Mashed Potatoes

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 5 lbs potatoes, peeled
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 peel and quarter potatoes. place in a pot, cover with water, and boil until tender.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 mash potatoes, or put in mixer with paddle (my favorite way to do it.).
  • 4 add sour cream, cream cheese, butter, onion salt, salt, and pepper. stir until smooth and fluffy.
  • 5 serve plain, or with gravy.
  • 6 stays fresh for two weeks.
